Now lets move onto the The SPEKTRA XION PEN. This pen, might just be one of the most wanted tattoo machines on the market. Its ergonomic shape, light design and many Variation options, pre destine this machine to be used as a 'daily driver'.
Needle depth and the stroke of this machine can be adjusted for all purposes. 2 stroke excenters in 3,2 and 3,7mm are included with your purchase. The standard 25 to 32milimeter thick grips and the 40mm thick gorilla grips are completely autoclavable. The 6 Watt MotorBolt was specially designed for tattoo artists needs, which makes this machine a real all round talent.
Which stroke does the Xion Tattoo Pen have?
Factory installed is a Stroke Excenter with 3.2mm stroke.
Included is a 3.7mm Stroke Excenter and can be changed in a few steps to modify the stroke of your FK Iron Xion Tattoo Pens.
How can I change the stroke on the Spektra Xion Pen?
To change the stroke of the Xion Pen, you only need to release the motor and replace the stroke excenter.
To do this, turn the motor a quarter turn, turn it counterclockwise and pull it backwards, away from the housing.
Now you can see the stroke excenter, which determines the stroke. Loosen it with the supplied tool and replace it with the other stroke excenter supplied.
How can I change the needle depth on the Xion Pen?
You can change the needle depth by turning the Grips.
It's best to set the needle depth while the tattoo machine is running.
How can I change the give on the Xion Pen?
To change the give of the FK Irons Xion Pen, you have to turn the grip until it releases itself from the rest of the machine and you can take it off.
Now you should see on the Xion Pen a black plastic cap with the letters S and H on the side of the cap. The letters are S for Soft, H for Hard and the cap can be turned.
To soften the hit, turn the cap towards soft. If the hit needs to be harder, just turn the cap towards hard.
Is the grip of the Spektra Xion Pen autoclavable?
Yes, the grip of the Spektra Xion Tattoo Pen is autoclavable.
For autoclaving use only steam autoclaves.
Do not exceed the temperature of 132°C or 270° Fahrenheit.
Add a hint of ointment or PTFE grease around internal opening of grip or on stabilizing friction O–rings for optimal functionality after autoclaving.
Does the Xion Pen need to be lubricated?
No, the Xion Pen does not need to be lubricated afterwards.
The Spektra Xion Tattoo Pen is pre-lubricated from factory and does not require internal lubrication.
Does the Gorilla grip fit the Xion Pen?
Yes, the Gorilla Grip fits every version of the Xion Pen.
