Round Liner
Your weapon for all kinds of lines. The needle tips converge slightly at the end. For pin-sharp lines and dot work.

Straight Round Liner
Unlike the Round Liner, the needles on the Straight are open and not conically soldered. As a result, the lines are thicker with the same number of needles as with the Round Liner.

One Off Liner
One-off liners are round needle arrangements where the needle is missing in the middle. On the market, these are also known as standard hollow or empty liners.

Bug Pin
Bug Pin is not a needle arrangement but a special type of taper. BugPin needles, also known as Extreme Long Taper (XLT), are the finest needles on the market and are therefore very suitable for fine line and particularly delicate work. Bug pin needles take their name from entomology (the science of insects), because the same needles are used by anthropologists to fix exoskeletons for their research.

Round Shader
Round, particularly open soldered needle configurations that are particularly suitable for filling and shading smaller or angled areas.

Soft Edge Round Shader
The needles in the middle are longer than the outer needles. This creates a curve. Soft shading can be achieved from any angle without creating edges.

Magnum
Two offset rows of needles. Ideal for filling or shading large areas. Also known in specialist circles as 'Flat' Magnum.
(illus. 3509 Long Taper)

Soft Edge Magnum
Two offset rows of needles similar to the Flat Magnum. The difference is that the needles are soldered in a slightly semi-circular arrangement. This means that the outer needles are 'shorter' and become 'longer' towards the middle. Ideal for soft shades and soft color gradients.

Magnum Whip Shader
There are three liner configurations arranged next to each other on each needle bar. A 5-piece whip shader therefore consists of 5 side by side, i.e. with 5 x 3 needles. Ideal for pepper shading and dot work.
