Info on battery disposal

In connection with the sale of batteries or with the delivery of devices that contain batteries, we are obliged to inform you of the following:

The crossed-out trash can symbol on rechargeable and other batteries states that they must not be disposed of with household waste at the end of their lifespan. If batteries or accumulators contain mercury, cadmium or lead, you will find the respective chemical symbol (Hg, Cd or Pb) below the symbol of the crossed-out trash can. You are legally obliged to return old batteries. You can do this free of charge in any retail store or at a special collection point near you. Addresses of suitable collection points can be obtained from your city or local government. Further information about the Battery Act can also be found online at www.batteriegesetz.de.

Alternatively, as an end user, you can return old batteries that we carry or have carried as new batteries in our range to our shipping warehouse (shipping address) free of charge.
